## Introduction

- AI video workflows show which AI tool to use at each step of making a video, in order: script, voice, visuals, edit and thumbnail. Each workflow names one tool per step plus alternatives, and lists the free plan and cheapest paid plan from the maker's own pricing page.
- Pick the workflow that matches the video you want to make. The faceless workflow makes a 3 to 5 minute narrated explainer in 6 steps, and the avatar workflow puts a presenter on screen in 5. Neither needs a camera, a microphone or any code.

## Questions people ask

### What is an AI video workflow?

An AI video workflow is the order of tools you use to make one kind of video, with one AI tool doing each step. Following a tested order saves you from making visuals that don't fit the voiceover, or scripts that don't fit the format.

### Can I make videos with AI without showing my face?

Yes. The faceless video workflow uses an AI voiceover over generated images and clips, and the avatar workflow puts a digital presenter on screen instead of you.

### Do these AI video workflows cost money?

You can start each one for free, because every main tool has a free plan. The limits are usually generated video credits and commercial licences, which each step lists from the maker's own pricing page.

### Which tools appear in most AI video workflows?

A chat assistant for the script, a voice or avatar tool, an image generator, a video editor with captions and a design tool for thumbnails. The AI video editing tools ranking compares the editors in detail.
