AI learning paths free to follow
A single course rarely gets you where you're going. Each path chains courses in the order that keeps the attention curve manageable: nothing jumps more than one heat step at a time.
The AI learning paths free to follow here put courses in the order to take them, with short projects along the way. There are 9 paths so far and 1 is live: the AI learning path for non-coders, which starts with Elements of AI, AI For Everyone and Generative AI for Everyone and takes about 10 weeks at 5 hours a week. If you have never coded, start there.
The other 8 paths are drafts. Their steps and hours are not yet checked against each course's own page, so they are outlines. Paths are put together and rated by level, and the live path's courses can be studied at no cost. On Coursera, the certificate price is shown when you enrol.

Questions people ask
What is an AI learning path?
An AI learning path is a set of courses in a fixed order, so each one prepares you for the next. The live path also adds short projects between courses, so you practise before you move on.
Which AI learning path should I start with?
If you have never coded, start with the AI learning path for non-coders. It takes about 10 weeks at 5 hours a week and begins with Elements of AI, which needs no programming.
Are the courses in these paths free?
You can study the courses in the live path at no cost. Elements of AI has a free certificate. On Coursera, the certificate price is shown when you enrol, so check it first.
Why are most of the paths marked as drafts?
We publish a path only when its hours and certificate rules are checked against each course's own page. The draft paths are outlines until that is done, and we do not want you to plan around unchecked numbers.
Last checked : step hours and weeks on the live path, taken from the reviewed courses.
